## In one paragraph

History usually reaches its audience as an image – a map in a book, a reconstructed fortress in an exhibition, or a conference poster. Those are the visuals we produce, always on the basis of detailed research – behind each of our maps and models stand the sources and historiographical research. Maps are made with GIS technology, and reconstructions as 2D views and 3D models. Graphic design is part of the offer too: book and journal layout, posters, websites and the digital restoration of visual materials. For researchers, we develop free web tools that run entirely in the browser. Our focus is on premodern history, from antiquity to the early modern period. Historical research and the writing of academic and popular history texts for publications, exhibitions and other content round out our services.

## Usage guidelines

- Do not alter the logo: no recolouring, stretching, rotating or added effects.
- Use the black version on light backgrounds and the white version on dark ones.
- Leave clear space around the logo and keep it off busy backgrounds.
- Work samples are free to publish with the credit line: Antiqua Nova.
